Where are we today

New Hamburg Ontario, Canada

Again a nice morning drive and sunrise along the way. Cooler this morning, but still pretty nice. Did not have to scrape the ice off my windshield this morning (2 days in a row).

Now the snow is going away fairly quickly, and is real nice here. First pic below is 3 weeks ago looking out the patio door from the dining room.

Second pic taken this afternoon! What a difference. Yep spring is on the way.

After lunch went to Kitchener to visit my ma. She is back in the hospital again, hmm, not good but it is what it is. She needs more care and we will see how things go. Chat with my sis who is there had a bit of a visit though ma was sleeping most of the time, then back here to New Hamburg.

Thinking of a bit of a walkabout on another nice sunny day, but time was running out. So outside walkabout the back yard and can see green grass!!!!

Ok 30 minutes and still have time for a walk. Down the road to the corner .6 miles each way (Tim Hortons on the corner), sun shining and sidewalks good so I am good to go.

Now down to the corner .6 miles is 2 Very important places here in town. Tim Hortons on one side of the street and McDonalds on the other! Great for small town Ontario, these fast food places. really hard on the local Ma and Pa places and I was one of those many years ago. We don't very often use these establishments, much prefer local businesses.

Got back home to whip up supper. Couple cod loins I picked up popped in the oven with some light Panko breading and spices, Added to a tasty salad sure did the trick again for us tonight.
