'67 Chevelle SS 396

The Chevrolet Chevelle is well represented in the Hot Wheels line-up with no less than 12 different models. Last year in November, we covered the '64 Chevy Chevelle SS, and today, we'll take a look at the '67 Chevelle SS 396.

This is from the 2010 New Models series. It was designed by Brandon Vetuskey, a HW designer who has done quite a few muscle car models.

This green one is from the 2012 Muscle Mania series.

This is the 2016 Leap Year model. I could not resist buying it when I saw its racing tampos and its 5SP grey wheels.

For those interested, a leap year is, according to Wikipedia, a year containing one additional day added to keep the calendar year synchronized with the astronomical or seasonal year.
